DAY ONE
PRE SHADOWING QUESTIONNAIRE + PREP CALL
Once we schedule your day, you will receive a questionnaire to fill out. This will help pinpoint your strengths, and any areas you feel you might be struggling with. From there, we will schedule a 30 minute call with Val to further discuss your answers, and start customizing your shadow experience — tailored to you and your business
DAY TWO
IN PERSON SHADOW DAY
come hang at salt strands from 8:30am - 4:00pm for your customized shadow experience.
+ MORNING REFRESHMENTS
your day begins with your fav Starbucks or Pressed Juice and some light morning snacks. We will get your order from you the day before and have it ready when you arrive.
+ NEW INSTALL
you will observe a new install from beginning to end. This will include consultation, color, new extension install, haircut, styling, and photos. Val will showcase colors + an extension install that is customized to you
+ CUSTOM
depending on what we discuss during your pre shadow call, we will insert here what will be the most beneficial to your growth to make the most out of your day. This can range from hands on practice, to observing a tightening service, to more in depth business strategies. The point is we customize it to you + your needs.
+ BEHIND THE SCENES + SALT STRANDS SYSTEMS EDUCATION

DAY THREE
POST SHADOWING SCHEDULED CALL
One month after your in-person training, we will have a follow up call to close out your shadowing experience. because let’s face it, there’s always questions you forget to ask in the moment. Did you go home and implement something you learned but it’s not working how you wanted? no problem, we will troubleshoot and continue to tweak things to set you up for ultimate success.

AN INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE

We want to create an interactive experience where you’re doing parts of the process alongside us and our teams. So there’s no huge spotlight on you, there is no daunting makeover to complete on your own, but you’re able to immediately implement some color + extension techniques WITH us.
This will further your confidence to take the skills back to your salon and use what you like.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
This class is the first of it’s kind – it lies somewhere between a “demo only” and a “hands on” class.
Demo only leaves the opportunity to zone out and not participate in the class. If you’re a shy wallflower, you’re not going to get the most out a demo only class. But a full hands on class can be completely overwhelming for stylists.

There are only 3 classes – each class will have no more than 10 stylists. Super intimate for maximum learning.
We have learned that we do our best as educators by not over extending ourselves. No amount of money is worth it at this point in our careers. We want to give our ALL to you, and our only intent in education is to help like minded stylists grow, in an environment full of positivity + inspiration.
