Dry Winter Hair Cures

02.03.23

When the seasons change, so must your hair care routine. (also I use the term “seasons” loosely here in Orange County, CA because I mean — it’s 71 and sunny as I type this).

Nonetheless, here’s a few tweaks to maintain your extensions during the drying months.

It saves your hairstyle so you don’t have to heat style your mane everyday. The less heat on your hair, the better – especially when it’s dry.

Load those dry extensions up at night (remember guys, we never go to bed with wet hair).

So cover your mane with Iles formula serum and R+Co Bleu oil so you can hydrate those strands while you sleep.

(are you feeling the silk vibe yet — it’s the MVP during the winter months. don’t skimp) Dry and cold air = fragile and brittle hair. Protect yourself with silk hair accessories.

Keep this bad boy in your purse along with a brush to tend to those dry tangles throughout the day. Coats/ collars/ brisk temps all add to extension hair friction and this is an easy solution to untangle those dreads while moisturizing + nourishing your hair with vitamins and goodness.

Holds in moisture on your face and your hair. It also protects your strands from snagging and snapping which is easier to happen when it’s cold out.

Now is N O T the time for protein or strengthening treatments.    Moisture > everything.

My go to’s are –

+ Iles formula mask

+ R+Co Bleu sleep mask
